The Lambda Delta Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is a cohesive group of women educators, each of whom values the future of the teaching profession and the support of community projects. Our chapter includes membership from the greater Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita area. Our membership is diverse, including members from public schools in the Humble ISD, Aldine ISD, New Caney ISD and Sheldon ISD as well as college educators, independent consultants, retired educators and others who instruct in other fields of work. Our chapter is part of the Texas State Organization, also known as Alpha State,and Area 18 of the TSO. Area 18 is comprised of 19 chapters from the northeast, north, northwest, west and southwest parts of the Houston metropolitan area.
